2 Game Recaps

The first is Manchester City vs QPR in the English Premier League in 2012. Coming into this game, City only needed a win to clinch the league title. A loss or tie would leave a window open for their city rival, Manchester United, who had won 4 of the last 5 league titles.


Early in the game, City looked nervous, but they got an early lead thanks to an early goal by Pablo Zabaleta. After that, City started to coast but gave up 2 goals, which put City on the outside looking in at the league title while putting United in the driver's seat. But thanks to a late goal in extra time, City tied the score at 2-2 with just a few minutes left to save their season and capture their first Premier League title. With under a minute left, and Manchester United winning their game 1-0. City had to score to win the title, they were about to get their opportunity to do just that after a throw-in by City, Sergio Agüero would carry the ball up the field playing 1-2 passes with his teammates, finally one last 1-2 pass with Mario Balotelli, serigo would hit a one time shot into the net completling the greatest comeback in sports history. 


The second game is Game 7 of the 2011 Stanley Cup Eastern Conference Finals. The  Boston Bruins were being outclassed for most of this game, being down 4-1 at one point in this game. Halfway through the 3rd period, the Bruins would start their comeback hopes with a goal by Nathan Horton. The Bruins still needed 2 goals, but time was running out with under 2 mins left, they got 2 goals in 2 mins to tie the game by Milan Lucic and Patrice Bergeron. They would go to overtime, where Patrice Bergeron would score again to win the game and the series for the Boston Bruins.
